Born and raised in Wyoming, David and Jenny Shipley met and married while attending the University of Wyoming in Jenny’s hometown of Laramie. While in college, the couple was active with the church of Christ in Laramie as well as with the Christian Student Center on the University of Wyoming campus. Joshua Hartwigsen is a graduate of both Freed-Hardeman University and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Upon graduation from the University of Tennessee, Joshua worked with the Karns Church of Christ in Knoxville, Tennessee for eight years. Near the end of 2008, Joshua and his family moved to Mount Vernon in Southern Illinois where he worked with the Mount Vernon Church of Christ for ten years before moving to Kansas to work with the 151st Street Church of Christ at the end of 2018. Joshua and his wife Amy have been married for twenty-two years and have two sons.
